Happy First Day of Summer!!!

Hey-Lo!!!!

It's the first day of summer and the weather is finally cooperating!

Well, a couple week's ago was my BFF Michelle's birthday. Of course we had to get all dressed up and go out for dinner! And I received my Jael jeans from Buffalo David Bitton just in time! These are the jeans that I won from Lena over at Quality Rivets.

We had so much fun. Four of us went over to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. We were there at least 2.5 hours! We had yummy Pomegranate Margaritas, Buffalo Blasts (YUM!!!!!!), and some various dishes. They even made Michelle a dish that they no longer have on their menu, just for her birthday! It was a great night and we didn't take nearly enough pictures!

That is the party part of this post. Now for the diet part.

I haven't been eating so well lately. I'm the first to admit it! And when you don't eat well, you don't feel well. So this morning I decided I am going on a "diet". A healthy eating diet that is! No more junk, less snacking on icky food, and just over all taking better care of myself. I figured, what better way to do this, than to keep myself accountable by posting some of the things I eat. Yes, it will likely be crappy iPhone pictures, but its a start!
So, starting with breakfast, this is my first food picture post!
I had cheerios with banana slices and low fat milk for breakfast this morning. It was quite yummy, but my tummy quickly reminded me afterward that I cannot enjoy bananas in the morning. :( Triggers my IBS like it's no ones business and my stomach just ends up in knots and it's so uncomfortable. I just want to double over and lay down on the ground! But I can't since I am at work. Thank God for TUMS! Lifesaver!
I brought some fruit to snack on today as well. A white peach, a fuji apple (my fave apples!), and some strawberries and blueberries. I will be eating a half sandwich for lunch that is leftover from lunch yesterday. 
Dutch Crunch bread, corned beef, havarti, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and yellow mustard. My favorite sandwich from the local deli! Might post a picture of it later! It's so good!

I am sooo looking forward to this weekend. Michelle and I are having a strictly girls only party weekend! I will be spending the weekend at her place, shopping, playing with makeup and nail polish, doing our hair, and baking! 
Will make sure to take lots of pictures this time!

Any suggestions on what we should bake? Michelle is training for a marathon, so she is on a strict diet right now, also known as her "training diet"!

The Frosty No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies look so good! And not to mention any number of her smoothies/soft serves/VOO's!

This is going to be such an amazing weekend!
