Yay! More red carpet goodies!!!
There were some very interesting outfits, some gorgeous outfits, and some down right weird outfits.
Lets get started with the best!
Dame Helen Mirren in Vivienne Westwood: I hope I look this good at her age! She's so beautiful!
Amy Adams in L'Wren Scott: All I can say is....what baby? Look at her figure! And this dress is beautiful on her!
Penelope Cruz in L'Wren Scott: Another recent mama, and another fabulous body post baby! I just LOVE the details on this dress and the color is great on her!
Gwyneth Paltrow in Calvin Klein Collection: Shes so great! And this dress is so fabulous! It's a great color on her (the metallic really helps with that).
Hilary Swank in Gucci Premiere: All I can say is I love the combination of sequins and feathers! And this is tastefully done and it shows off her fab figure!
Natalie Portman in Rodarte: You can barely tell shes preggers! This is a fab dress and fab color on her. I think she looks so stunning in this dress!
Michelle Williams in Chanel Haute Couture: Not usually a fan of hers but all I can say is WOWZA!!! Look at her in this beautiful Chanel dress!! Who knew she had such a great figure?! Lovely!
Jennifer Hudson in Atelier Versace: WOW! WOW! WOW! The color is great for her skin tone, the bottom has volume BUT it's done in the right way for her figure. And this shows off her wicked new bod! HOT! HOT! HOT!
Russell Brand with his momma Barbara: I think this is the first time I have seen him in something that isnt' showing off his icky chest hair! He looks great in this suit and is all cleaned up and his momma just looks lovely!!!
Now, these, I didn't know where to place, because they aren't my favorites, but they aren't awful either! So this is the "in between" group:
Celine Dion in Armani Prive: It's an interesting dress, and lovely color, but doesn't it remind you of those hard ribbon candies:
Sandra Bullock in Vera Wang: Usually I love what she wears, although she has had some doozies over the years. I just don't like the shaping on this dress, it makes her pear bottom look HUGE and I don't like the color on her.
Scarlett Johansson in a one-of-a-kind Dolce & Gabbana: I love the color of this dress, I love the lace, and this dress looks GREAT from behind. I do NOT like the front of this dress and I highly dislike her tousled locks with this dress...
Now, onto the my least favorites:
Sunrise Ruffalo in Gaultier Paris: This dress has no idea what it wants to be! It looks like she took one of Mark's jackets and attached it to a gold dress with some modifications...And I just cannot stand that huge shoulder, makes her look like she has something growing out of her that shes trying to hide.
Cate Blanchett in Givenchy Haute Couture: It looks like she should have a picture on her chest. I love the fabric and the beading details but the way it's done is just weird....
Florence Welch in Valentino Haute Couture: I LOVED her Grammy's dress but I cannot stand this dress. I'm just not into the romantic detailing...the color looks great on her though.
Mandy Moore in Monique Lhuillier: This color washes her out so badly. This is another confused dress if you ask me. Looks like a sequined cocktail dress that wanted to be something more, so they added tulle to the bottom and a high color...but it just doesn't work if you ask me.
Marisa Tomei in vintage Charles James: Not a fan at all of the shaping on this. Makes her look like she has a pooch and she doesn't look very happy.
Mila Kunis in Elie Saab Couture: I love this color on Mila, I can't stand the dress. It looks like someone didn't know what they wanted to do so they just took a bunch of fabric and draped it around her body. And again, not a fan of the peek-a-boo on the bottom, but I really like the detailing on the top half. The lace peek outs are beautiful (but a little too close for a nip-slip if you ask me).
Thats all for the Oscars!
Until next time!
