Charcteristic and Chemical Compound of Arecha catechu L. Seeds

Areca catechu L. Areca catechu L. is a plant family Arecaceae which can reach 15-20 m tall with an upright stem diameter of 15 cm. The fruit germinate after 1.5 months and 4 months later and have crested the small leaves wich are not open yet. Formation of new rod occurred after 2 years and produce fruit at the age of 5-8 years
